What is the German Design Award?
The German Design Award is more than just an award. It’s one of the most significant recognitions in the global design world, a beacon that shines light on excellence and innovation across various sectors. Created by the German Design Council in 2012, it awards the best solutions in design and architecture.
Every year, an international jury of experts evaluates thousands of projects from all over the world, selecting those that best combine aesthetics, functionality, and innovation. This year, the award has a special focus on sustainability and the circular economy, underlining the importance of designing not only for the present but also for the future.
