The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the ICE Agency and Amazon Italy, organised the “Made in Italy Days” from 30 May to 2 June 2022.
The main objective of this initiative is to promote Made in Italy products as well as small and medium-sized enterprises operating in various sectors, such as food, fashion and design.
In this context, we were selected to participate at the event at the Italian Embassy in Washington, on 2 June, on the occasion of Republic Day. We are really proud to have been chosen to represent the Made in Italy quality abroad. This was the perfect opportunity for us to promote our products as well as to communicate our values across the Atlantic.
We sold our first piece of furniture in the United States in early 2021 and now, we have become the first Italian furniture company to develop a direct commercial relationship with customers in the USA, without any intermediary. “We have also noticed the growing interest of Americans in “Made in Italy” quality and the results confirm it: until now, they are excellent.”, commented Ronny Gobbo.
This event allowed us to exchange views not only with the Ambassador, Mariangela Zappia, and the other companies present, but also with the institutions with which we are developing an ambitious project on the topic of logistics.
Now, we are ready to face the new challenges of the US market where we wish to strengthen our presence on the long term. America, here we come!
